I’m beyond thrilled to share some truly exciting news – I’ve been shortlisted for two more incredible awards this year! It’s such an honour to have my work recognised in these meaningful ways, and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate and reflect on what these nominations mean to me.
Sustainability Champion 2025 – Aspire Awards

First up, I’m absolutely delighted to be shortlisted as Sustainability Champion 2025 at the Aspire Awards! These prestigious awards celebrate excellence across the luxury travel industry, with judging carried out by panels of experienced professionals to ensure fairness and recognition of genuine impact.
Being shortlisted among so many inspiring individuals is a huge honour. It’s wonderful to know that the commitment I’ve made to embedding sustainability within travel – from championing responsible practices to inspiring others to take positive action – has been recognised in this way.
The winners will be announced on 20th November at the beautiful Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester. It promises to be a night of celebration for our industry, and I’m excited to join so many others who are pushing for a more sustainable, future-focused travel sector.

Community Champion Award – Ask Zoe Christmas Awards

Not long after receiving the Aspire Awards news, I had another surprise – I’m also shortlisted for the Community Champion Award, sponsored by Rotherham & Barnsley Business Link at the Ask Zoe Christmas Awards.
This award celebrates people who go above and beyond to make a positive difference – building stronger communities, inspiring others, and driving change through kindness, dedication, and sustainability. What makes this shortlisting even more special is that I didn’t even put myself forward – someone else nominated me out of the blue, and that really touched me.
For me, community and connection have always been at the heart of what I do – whether that’s helping others embrace sustainable ways of working and travelling, supporting local initiatives, or using my skills to make a positive impact wherever I can. Being recognised for these efforts feels incredibly rewarding.
A huge thank you to Ask Zoe and the judges, and congratulations to all the other amazing finalists – Dawn Stott, my lovely friends at Network Bee (founded by Leanne Keetley, Lucy Davies, and Carla Bent), and Steph Cronin-Milne (The Crafty Biz Network). It’s such an honour to be in such inspiring company!
The awards ceremony takes place on 28 November, and I can’t wait to celebrate the everyday heroes who quietly create change in their communities.

Reflecting on the Journey
Being shortlisted for these two awards is a reminder of why I do what I do. Whether it’s working towards a more sustainable travel industry or helping to strengthen and support communities, the goal is always the same: to make a positive impact and inspire others to do the same.
Here’s to continuing the journey towards a more responsible, impactful, and future-focused world – one small action at a time.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way – these nominations wouldn’t have been possible without your encouragement and belief.
