Staying at Iberostar Alcudia Park

In April 2022, my husband and I headed to Majorca for 4 nights on our first holiday abroad since 2020. When we travelled to Spain we were required to provide evidence of our full vaccination status and masks were mandatory when inside public buildings.

My husband was at the tail end of recovery from a broken leg and so we wanted to be located somewhere close to a beach, with lots of facilities and All Inclusive board so that we didn't have to walk too far.

We opted for the Iberostar Alcudia Park, mainly for it's location right on the beach but also because we knew that the hotel offered everything that we needed for our short break with added luxury.

Iberostar Alcudia Park is a contemporary, sea-themed hotel with a fantastic location right on a beautiful, sandy beach. A highlight of the hotel is the fab lagoon-style pool, which is lined with sun loungers and boasts stunning sea views.

There’s a buffet restaurant and a beachside snack bar. For families, there are activities and entertainment for all ages. For those in search of relaxation, SPA Sensations is the ideal place to rest and indulge.

We holidayed as a couple this time, but if you were holidaying with kids, they are in for a real treat when they sign up for Star Camp. Daily activities such as science experiments, tech skills and starring in a video are all there to inspire and challenge your little ones.

We decided to upgrade to a Star Prestige room and we received VIP service from the moment we arrived - a welcome drink and our very own check in area, luxury extras including a room in a prime location, beautiful blankets and exclusive entry to the Star Prestige Lounge and the roof top bar area.

One of the great things about Iberostar is their Wave of Change campaign. Something that I really admire. Wave of Change is Iberostar’s pioneering movement dedicated to the oceans and to leading responsible tourism. Their mission is simple - to tackle the ocean’s biggest challenges by using the strengths of the tourism industry and private sector to scale solutions.

Wave of Change is visible throughout the hotel, but not more so than in the room with the refillable water bottles and in the corridors with the refillable water stations. This really is ground breaking and has enabled Iberostar to provide filtered water to all clients and entirely erase single use plastic in over 120 properties all around the world!

We had a wonderful few days. A chance to refresh and reset. To spend time together and to get a little bit if sunshine too!
